Itinerary

  • Begin your journey in the cultural heart of Quebec. Arrive at any time and settle into your hotel in Montréal. In the evening, meet your fellow travellers at a welcome meeting. Those who wish may choose to join the group for dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Enjoy a relaxed morning before travelling north to the majestic Saguenay region. En route, stop for lunch at a local food truck in the Québec City area, known for serving traditional Indigenous cuisine. Arrive at a peaceful lodge perched above the Saguenay Fjord and take a short orientation walk to get your bearings. This beautifully remote retreat will be your base for the next four nights.

  • Begin the day with a guided hike through boreal forest to a lighthouse overlooking the fjord—an ideal spot to pause and take in the views with a warm coffee. Later, travel to the village of Ste-Rose-du-Nord for a kayaking excursion through the calm, scenic waters of the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park. Return to the lodge for a relaxed evening, with time to swim, unwind at the spa, or enjoy a campfire complete with s’mores and storytelling.

  • Travel toward the coast and stop in Saguenay Fjord National Park for a hike with the chance to spot beluga whales from a scenic lookout at Baie Ste-Marguerite. After a picnic lunch, continue to the charming village of Tadoussac for a guided orientation walk and free time to explore. Optional activities include visiting the Marine Mammal Interpretation Centre or joining a zodiac whale-watching cruise. Return to the lodge for a quiet evening.

  • Head into the outdoors with a morning visit to Parc Aventures du Fjord. Enjoy a guided hike through the forest trails overlooking the fjord, or opt for more adventurous activities like a treetop obstacle course or Via Ferrata climb. In the afternoon, visit Monts-Valin National Park for a rewarding hike to scenic mountain lookouts before returning to the lodge.

  • After a final breakfast in the peaceful setting of the fjord, travel to Québec City. On arrival, take a short walking tour through the historic streets before enjoying the afternoon at leisure. Consider joining an optional guided food tour, a historic walk, or even a bike ride along the waterfront.

  • Depart Québec City in the morning for the return journey to Montreal, where the tour concludes upon arrival at the airport.
