Arrive in Deer Lake at any time. This night is included to accommodate flight schedules into the region, with the tour officially beginning the following morning.

After a morning welcome meeting, depart Deer Lake and head straight to Gros Morne National Park. The day begins with a scenic hike along the Tablelands Trail, known for its panoramic views and unique geological formations. The journey continues to the historic town of Woody Point, with time to explore at leisure. A short boat ride across Boone Bay to Norris Point follows, offering stunning water views and saving drive time. The evening concludes in Rocky Harbour, with an optional group dinner available.

Spend a full day exploring Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse and enjoy a coastal walk before transferring to the trailhead leading to the boat dock at Western Brook Pond. Cruise through the dramatic fjord while enjoying a packed lunch on board, surrounded by towering cliffs and untouched wilderness. Return to Rocky Harbour for a relaxed evening.

After breakfast, enjoy free time in Twillingate, often referred to as the “Iceberg Capital of the World.” Optional activities include local hikes, museums, art workshops, or pre-booked whale watching and wildlife tours. Later, continue to Trinity, a town rich in character and history. The evening is free to dine locally or join a walk up Gun Hill at sunset, with the option of attending a performance at the local theatre.

Begin the day with a short walk to a puffin viewing site in Elliston, offering excellent opportunities to observe these colourful seabirds up close. Enjoy free time in town for lunch and optional visits to local interpretive centres. In the afternoon, join a guided walk along one of the peninsula’s coastal trails (weather-dependent), showcasing dramatic sea stacks, seasonal icebergs, and potential whale sightings. Return to Trinity for a relaxed evening.
