This 13-day journey from Broome to Darwin offers an in-depth exploration of the Kimberley’s most extraordinary landscapes, combining remote wilderness, rich cultural heritage and refined comfort. The adventure begins with a spectacular seaplane flight to the dramatic Horizontal Falls, followed by a cruise through powerful tidal currents and secluded bays. Deep in the Kimberley, discover the remote Mitchell Plateau and spend two nights at a luxury safari camp, with guided hikes to Punamii-Uunpuu (Mitchell Falls) alongside a Wunambal Gaambera Traditional Owner, and the opportunity to view ancient Gwion and Wanjina rock art.
The journey continues to the World Heritage-listed Bungle Bungle Range, exploring Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm, before delving into the striking geology and cultural stories of Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek. Travel through Kununurra, a vibrant outback town shaped by the Ord River, then follow the northern section of the iconic Gibb River Road to Wyndham, the Kimberley’s oldest town, where sweeping views stretch across the Cambridge Gulf from Five Rivers Lookout. The experience concludes with a two-night stay at El Questro Wilderness Park, an iconic Kimberley retreat set among rugged ranges, thermal springs and ancient gorges.
