Itinerary Overview

Depart early from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park. During the dry season (June to September), Tarangire becomes a sanctuary for thousands of animals, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and wildebeests, who migrate to the Tarangire River in search of water. Enjoy a full day of game drives with a picnic lunch. Overnight stay at a tented camp in Tarangire.

Enjoy a leisurely day with the option of a morning game drive in Tarangire or relaxing at your accommodation. Overnight stay at a lodge.

Depart Tarangire and travel to the highlands of Karatu, with a stop at the scenic Manyara and escarpment views. Explore the vibrant local market and experience rural Tanzanian life in Karatu. In the afternoon, embark on a tour of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site with spectacular game viewing and diverse landscapes. Overnight stay at either the crater’s rim or in Karatu.
