With 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, I work with clients across New Zealand to plan well-considered, seamless travel experiences. I enjoy working with a wide range of travellers, from families and corporate clients to retirees planning once-in-a-lifetime journeys, particularly where trips are more complex and benefit from careful planning.
Europe is a key focus of my work, especially longer independent itineraries that allow travellers to truly experience each destination. I enjoy designing trips that combine memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences such as self-guided cycling, river cruising, scenic rail journeys and small ship cruising — offering a different and more immersive way to discover Europe beyond the traditional highlights.
South East Asia is another area I know well, having travelled extensively throughout the region myself. My experience ranges from small group tours and luxury river boats, to houseboats in remote island locations and eco-style resorts. This first-hand knowledge allows me to match clients with the right style of travel, whether they are looking for comfort, adventure, cultural depth, or a combination of all three.
A key part of my work is managing complex flight itineraries. I enjoy working through routing options, connections and fare structures to find the best balance of price, comfort and travel time for each client. This is particularly important for longer or multi-destination trips, where getting the flights right can make a significant difference to the overall experience.
My approach to travel planning is detailed, organised and practical. Clients often describe me as efficient, responsive and a calm problem-solver, particularly when plans change or unexpected issues arise. I work end-to-end on each booking, from initial planning through to pre-departure support, so clients can travel with confidence knowing the details have been carefully thought through.
I believe good travel is about experiencing each destination and learning about the local culture, without feeling rushed. I take the time to understand how my clients like to travel and build itineraries that flow well, feel balanced, and are genuinely enjoyable.
